As light as a whisper –

traveling with the weight of pain

filling the vacuity of being lost and tamed

whirling on edges of untold alphabet

as therapy. . . broken like the wind.

As brave as an arrow –

flying through every whisper

tasting fistfuls of red: revenge

breaking walls of confined precincts

redressing hearts with the suction of memory.

As colourful as smiles –

residue of paint on faces

elastic “V” replacing what pains we own

sheathing the fears that teem in us

assuming reversed roles with God

We smile.

As blunt as actions –

Words speak louder

forging the sword of our existence

our actions are livid crippled soldiers

ripped of arms in a battle

We can’t fight.

As delicious as our laughter—

Perfect masking for tears

weaving carefully-pieced notes

into the atmosphere

seeking concord with soul.

As melodious as voices —
Like the small galley

with rich sounds and tunes

we speak beyond wordings

retell burdens with the ease of fluidity.
